Position requires employee to drive and operate equipment such as boom trucks, conveyors, semi’ trucks, lifts, skid loaders, tractors, etc. in addition to yard duties.

Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance.
Must have an insurance acceptable Class A commercial driver’s license.
Operating trucks/equipment subject to all DOT, State, and Federal laws.
Worker must have the ability to work with and around people and alone at times.
The individual must be competent and able to comprehend the responsibilities of the position.
Individual must have competent communication skills and decision making capabilities.
Must have the ability to problem solve.
Must be able to read concrete plans.
Must be able to safely and properly operate equipment.
Must keep aerial and lift certification valid.
Successfully complete Northern Concrete Construction Safety Training.
Utilize basic computer and smart phone functions.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS OF THE WORKPLACE
Exposure to loud noises.
May be exposed to outside work in all weather conditions.
Exposure to hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Exposure to outside work in all weather conditions.
May be exposed to confined spaces.
Some work indoors in a non-temperature controlled environment.
Must be able to lift/carry 80 lbs+.
Must have efficient eye-hand coordination.
Must be able to work long periods of time, including nights and weekends.
Must be able to maintain a valid Federal Medical card.
49 CFR 391.41 (if applicable).
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time in a truck tractor.
Must be able to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, and climb, as necessary to perform vehicle inspections.
The ability to travel throughout the state of WI and the US is required.
Work with purchasing department to order parts.
Must maintain Class A CDL and good driving record.
