Who WE are
TLB Wood Products LLC was established in 1999. We source and manufacture wood materials into exceptional landscape mulch, animal bedding and biomass fuel. In order to provide the highest standard of customer service along with efficient, timely delivery of our materials, we also operate our own transportation division known as TLB Transit Inc. We source raw materials and ship our finished products throughout the state of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. In addition, we offer transportation services throughout the Midwest region.

As a small family-owned business, we pride ourselves on being an environmentally "green" company through reclaiming, recycling and efficient manufacturing and sourcing of wood by-products. It is our mission to build strong, value-based relationships with our business partners. Our goal is to enable our business partners to excel in their businesses by offering high quality, consistently available and competitively priced landscape mulch, animal bedding and biomass fuel.
You will be more than just the Office Support Staff, as you will be a main point of contact for our incoming customers. This position also plays a key role in maintaining inventory numbers and keeping files organized. Below is a list of responsibilities, that we would like you to grow into:
- Answer phones.
o direct calls
o take orders enter into sage and disseminate
o note and update phone log
o screen calls
o seek help when needed
o resolve customer service issues as appropriate
- Front window
o create orders in SAGE
o collect payments – cash, checks, or credit card
o create intake forms for incoming source
o resolve customer service issues as appropriate
- Assist Accounting
o data entry in SAGE
o accounts receivable data entry, filing and follow-up
o accounts receivable collections calls and other contacts
o accounts payable data entry, filing and follow-up
o Other various duties
- Assist Dispatch, Sales and Marketing and other office duties
o Trailer Board
o Driver paperwork
o Answer and interact on radio
o Understand and fill in for dispatch with approved schedule
o Sales /Marketing assistance-
 ACT database work,
 Sales communication and marketing
 Sales campaigns assistance
 Calling and mailings
 Website work
 Research and projects

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
• Prepare reports pulled from multiple sources
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and procedures, including reporting is a plus
• Strong applied knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
• Knowledge of accounting software system SAGE, is a plus
• Excellent organization and time management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment, in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures
• Effective communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic team member
• Pay will vary depending on experience level
