This sofa/coffee table is a unique puzzle, a 1 x 6 “Burr Puzzle.” This means that the puzzle is composed of six separate pieces, and all pieces are of only one design. Once the puzzle is assembled the base is free-standing and the glass top rests on top of the assembled puzzle. The table stands about 14 inches tall.

The round top is tempered glass, 28 inches in diameter, 3/8 inch thick, edges are rounded and polished. The pieces are made from cherry and are finished with a satin oil finish.

The sofa/coffee table comes with an original model we made for the final piece. We include the six-piece model fully assembled (puzzle solved) just in case.

The history of Burr Puzzles is at least 300 year old. The name comes from seed burrs that stick to our clothing.
