They are SUPER DUPER sturdy! Has laminated wood - multiple layers to add strength
With a great cushion for comfort - 4 screws and the seat is OFF so you can reupholster or easily paint the wood chair
Meant to hold a heavy person -- reinforced, laminated layers of wood
$10/ea -- well worth it as they cost $140 new (quality made!) for a college cafeteria
