Walnut has such beautiful depth when you use 3 coats of danish oil and the 3 coats of ultra flat polyurethane to bring out the details without dating the piece. Manly enough for the guys but feminine enough for the ladies. Mother of pearl knobs, antique brass pulls, with lockable doors and drawers to keep those sneaky teenagers out.
Bottom and bottom shelf fit 16 bottles comfortably. Middle shelf fits pint glasses or shorter stemware. Mixing surface has 4 coats of poly to protect wood from spills. Top shelf can fit smaller bottles, additional stemware, stir sticks or whatever else you can think of.
