Edmund Fitzgerald model wood ship (Howard)

Launched in 1958, it was the largest ship on the Great Lakes at the time, transporting iron ore until it sank under mysterious circumstances with all 29 crew members during a fierce storm on Lake Superior, November 10, 1975. The exact cause is debated, but the sinking led to improved safety regulations for freighters. Kept in display case, non smoking environment. Roughly 18" long x 9.5" high. $395
