The 2nd Shift Shipping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily shipping and warehouse operions on second shift, ensuring the safe, accure, and timely handling of all incoming and outgoing merials. This role provides direct supervision to shipping personnel, supports inventory control processes, and partners with cross-functional teams to meet production and customer requirements. The Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining operional efficiency, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a positive, safety-focused work environment.
· Supervise, coach, and develop shipping department employees
· Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
· Provide clear direction on daily priorities and monitor workflow throughout the shift
· Address employee concerns, provide feedback, and support training and development initiives
· Oversee preparion and processing of all outgoing shipments, including banding, wrapping, and labeling of finished goods
· Ensure accure entry and processing of shipping transactions within the ERP system
· Supervise loading, unloading, storage, and movement of merials throughout the warehouse and production areas
· Coordine incoming shipments, including unloading, inspection, and proper storage
· Maintain organizion and cleanliness of the shipping and storage areas
· Monitor inventory levels and maintain accuracy through cycle counts and system updes
· Investige and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
· Ensure all merials are properly labeled and tagged for tracking and traceability
· Communice inventory needs or shortages to purchasing and operions teams
· Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with all safety procedures
· Promote a safety-first culture and actively participe in safety initiives
· Support quality standards by addressing and resolving shipping or product quality issues
· Collabore with production, customer service, and scheduling to ensure on-time shipments
· Monitor key performance indicors and communice performance results to leadership
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiency enhancements
· Maintain accure records and documention reled to shipping and inventory activities
