2000 3500 Series Dually. These were great years for these trucks, they put the 19.5 Tires on the one tons in this Era. Looks more like a 4500. This is the 6.5L turbo diesel built by Detroit coupled to a 5 speed manual transmission. So it's not a Duramax but that means it's not Duramax money. Truthfully it's not something I even want to sell (Cue the Violin, right?) I bought this truck because I have a dually box for this generation and I wanted a manual trans pick up. The wheel base is a little long for just a regular cab if I out my box on, I would still do that if someone wanted this amazing bed/box. Quality stuff, great cabinets, from the hinges to the hardware. Set up for cement work, can take a couple wheel barrows up top above the cab, but really anyone can utilize the ladder racks and all the space. I would sell the 14 foot bed for $2000 if you have a truck to put it on and then I would gladly keep the chassis.
The truck has a Pintle hitch for a construction trailer or a receiver hitch for a regular ball. Has the trailer brake attachment. The clutch was swapped at a shop in Illinois, along with the clutch line and slave cylinder. The truck drives straight, stops straight and still looks great. It is almost rust free. The passenger door is little messed up, someone caught the mirror and twisted the frame of the door. Opens and closes fine, leaks some air. I have a white replacement door I was going to put on but it has a chrome lower trim. Probably still better than this one.
I have changed the fuel filter and the throttle assembly, I changed the headlights out to LED. Still needs a clutch switch (For the cruise to work - have the switch) Needs a wiper motor. I'm slowly bringing it back to perfect wanting to keep it.
Anyway it's ready to go the the Jobsite if you need it or buy the box so I can keep it.
I have a Wi Dealers License (On Track Auto)so you'll have to include tax and title at the time of purchase unless you are coming from out of state. Give me a call to set up a time to check it out,
Thanks,
Matt
