That's cheap. If you look up the spiritual significance of a prehistoric limestone disk pipe in regards to Shamanism and you look up the same in regards to the ancient practice of decorating something with cross-hatching (tick tack toe lines) which is on this pipe's disk you will begin to see the spiritual power within this pipe. Some will judge the value of a prehistoric pipe on its aesthetics and physical condition and that's fine for the masses but if your looking for something deeper than all you need do is hold this to see and feel, its smoothness created not by polishing but by the various countless hands that held it over time. I bought this pipe close to forty years ago from Gary Litherland of Illinois who has since passed away but you can look up his name and see that its synonymous with expertise and trust. I do not have the overall knowledge of artifacts that Gary did but at one time I had about fifteen prehistoric pipes all bought from Gary many beautiful but not as powerful I feel. Because of the smoothness of this pipes broken edges Gary felt that this pipe was still in use even after it had been broken.
